Again, as in NOES - 4, the acting was rather disappointing. However, some of the scenes, like with all the mental patients were creepy to say the least.
The plot was pretty predictable to be honest. The only good point to make was that Freddy's make-up appeared to be a little less ridiculous, unlike the pathetic concept.
If you haven't seen it, you are NOT missing much.

MCT:October 5, 2008the dream child was just alright for me. wasnt too thrilled watching it. it had a pretty fair amount of killings in it which were exciting when they were shown. it kinda dragged a lit bit but it was concentrating more on storyline than freddy which i didnt like. this was better than freddy's revenge i must say but still was not one of the best in my book. maybe others will think differently bout it but lets just leave it to that, 3 1/2 stars.

it's better than part 4 was...and overall, it's an alright flick. it still doesn't compare to the original in terms of greatness, though. but, you get to see freddy battle a toddler...and that's good fun.
