Perhaps a guilty pleasure, but it sure held my interest. Only for fans of this type of thing, but maybe even not that since I really enjoyed it. Enough so that I immediately watched the sequel.

Good movie. There's a brief sexy scene which will make gay guys and girls drool. A fight between 2 male werewolves. One of them turned out to be very sexy (nice body too ^_^)

Positively my favorite vampyr movie. It has the feel of a typical monster movie, but I just think that it does it so well, it doesn't really matter. And it only helps that Kate Beckinsale is uber sexy as a vampyr. She just pulls it off perfectly. Kudos to Len Wiseman for making a great film.

Underworld looks nice. It starts off promising, but then it never really takes off after that. It's like a space shuttle without enough thrust to make it out of the atmosphere. But hey, that space shuttle sure looks pretty. Too bad it won't be anymore once it crashes back down.
I got an empty, hollow feeling after watching this movie. It's as if a real vampire sank its teeth into the camera's lens filter and sucked all the life and color out of it. Maybe that's what the director intended it to be. He wanted to make you feel as though you were a part of this Underworld, and so he then made you feel as though YOUR blood's been sucked dry.
Kate Beckinsdale, while stunning with fangs and tight leather (+ a **corset**) seems to reflect this lifelessness in her performance too. It's as though she's there to relate to how you're supposed to feel in this film. Dull and shallow. Her character hardly expresses any emotion. I wanted to see her seduce a poor, hapless young English lad and suck his blood dry in a dark alleyway. That's what real vampires are supposed to do. These vamps seem a little too civilized. Plus, where are the hot werewolf chicks? Oh well, there's always the sequel to hope for that.
Watching this film was like trying to have a deep conversation with a vapid model. Sure she looks nice while jabbering those gums, but then after a while, I feel as though I wasted my time. -

A wonderful vampire vs werewolf movie. It was a refreshing change from the common lore.
I will admit it had a good story and sleek visual effects. Maybe I am being biased for, because I am a fan of almost all things supernatural.
Not to mention the hot Kate Bekingsale graced my screen.
Although a vampire has supernatural powers some things were a bit amiss. Like the part when Kate shoot bullets in a circle around her to break through what seems like 2 feet of concrete. I don't care how accurate and strong you are, that is unexplainable.
Overall, I loved it!!

This movie is so great!!!!Any vampire movie for that matter.I am obsessed with vampires and am currently reading the Twilight series.I think the actor they picked for Bella is great.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! i cant get enough of the underworld series and i now found the books!! vampires and werewolves...hmmm...who is the winner of them all??
